SET Mentoring Celebrates Community Living Month

On October 7th,2009, SET Mentoring, the Green Bay Association for Community Living and the Green Bay Community Employment Corporation dedicated October as Community Living month in the town of Springdale. The theme was “A Community Walking Together”. There was a proclamation signing at the Town Hall in Springdale by Mayor Harvey Tizzard and was  followed by a community walk. Following the walk there was a luncheon held for everyone.  Mayor Harvey Tizzard commented that it was the largest group he has ever seen for a proclamation signing. The community support was phenomenal and it was inspiring and motivating to see everyone come together to celebrate. There was a great turnout of over 60 people who attended from all ages
